Guest guest
Hi Carol, Yes, you can have too much kefir, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have it twice a day. If you’re not putting on weight, and if your bowels are tolerating the amount you’re taking, then you can drink as much as you like. I have to limit to avoid putting on weight. What kind of milk are you using? Kefir grows well in dairy milk with fat in it. Sometimes though, the dried grains don’t act the same as fresh. Hello fellow kefirs - I have had my kefir grains about 3 months now and although they are producing good kefir, they do not seem to be growing any bigger. They were sent 'freeze dried'. Has anyone any suggestions as to how to increase the quantity of the grains please? Also - and maybe a stupid question! - can one have to much kefir in a day? I love it and it takes the place of my breakfast and as an afternoon snack if I feel my blood sugar is low. Any suggestions would be very welcomed.
