I must say I got some of Dar's grains and they are wonderful,  huge,

healthy and  are growing like mad....

Oh thanks, Cyndi, for letting me know.

 

LOL!  I think I've got a really good process figured out so that I can collect

the really big grains and mail out those and keep the littler ones until they

are ready.  It seems to be working out very well.  Everyone seems to be happy

which makes me happy!

Dar's are nice, big and give a really great flavor. My son likes to watch

them bubble up and down in the jar. They look like white/golden raisins

floating in soda.

There are plenty of them, so I've been experimenting without fear. 36 hour

lemonade is my favorite. 48+hour apple juice was great to come home to

after camping, but could really feel the alcohol. my son likes 24 hour

apple juice.

Hi ,

Can you tell me where you got the recipes for the different water kefirs you

have made?  the 36 hour lemonade, 48+ hour and 24 hour apple juice, etc... 

Was it Dom's or?

Hello.......Sometimes my water grains bubble, is this normal? What does it mean

when they do this?

Hi !

 

I am thrilled to hear that the grains are working out so well for you and that

your family is enjoying them.

 

This is definitely a labor of love for me because growing these grains for

others takes so much time and money on my part, but I love to hear how these

incredible little buggers are doing for everyone else too.

 

It never cesses to amaze me how fast they grow, to the point that I am driving

all the way to Reno on Sunday to pick up my new dehydrator so I can start drying

the over 100 cups of grains I've got now.  Happy Mother's Day to me!
