I tried to let my water grains out for an extra day after straining in order to reduce the sugar. After doing so, I put it in the fridge for another day and I notice something floating in the water, but it looked nothing like sugar. I don't know if it was from the extra day of fermentation or if this is normal because I never really looked at the finished product as I did this time around.
