Hi Lori,

Yes, baking will kill the bacteria in the kefir. It has plenty of other

nutrients that make it worth it to use it in baking, but it will no longer have

the bacteria in it.

I am not sure, but I believe the bacteria are throughout the kefir and there is

bacteria in both...but, I am not 100% sure of that. Seems that it would be that

way.

Does all the good bacteria stay in the cheese or drain out in the whey. I've
