I for one would love to have fresh raw milk to make kefir with. But, like ,

I can't afford it right now. It would also put my marriage at risk because my

husband is not supportive of it. We all do what we can. I know the benefits of

a real food diet and my family is getting there, but it is a process. We don't

eat many processed foods any more, and my kids think I'm slowly trying to take

away everything good in their lives :)

But we have yet to switch to raw milk.

Information is great, but ultimately it is our decision. Like said " It

may come as a surprise to you but I am a grown up person and I am perfectly

capable of making my own decisions. "

Com-on now , you sound like a guy who is able to talk about things and

just agree to disagree. Hmmm, I disagree with the general population out

there. Needless to say, I agree with Al, that people pay the consequences

of eating processed full of additive/pesticide/hormones/ and such food

stuff. Are you now in perfect health? No weight problems or other

degenerative stuff going on? Really it is just a matter of fact that ill

foods cause us to be ill. Well, I have had my health problems and going off

the SAD foods AND gluten changed so much for the better for me. If you have

ever been where I have been, ( & you will be if you are eating the nasty food

stuff Americans call food) you will realize that SAD food stuff does not

work. Come rally with us all with a open mind. You seem like a very

creative person, you can do it.

Take care, Alice

Alice,

You have not been following the thread. I am not shunning Al because he

disagrees with me. I in fact agree with him. I am shunning him because he is

nagging me about being imperfect and having to deal with real world issues like

budgets. And I have made it clear that I don't appreciate his fanaticism in the

face of my budgetary constraints but it is like talking to a wall. So instead

of getting my blood pressure up and " screaming " at him, I just as soon end our

relationship.

Al the milk from the cow on antibiotics cannot be added to the bulk tank. There

are milk testers who check each dairy farm.

CAFO cows are fed gmo's and lots of stuff that is not food. They have to give

the cows antibiotics or they will die. I think this is one of the reasons that

a lot of people have shrinking grains and their milk is not organic.
