Guest guest
Hi- I just started making and drinking milk kefir this week. Two questions so far: 1. How often each day can/should I drink kefir? Does it lose its benefit after drinking too much? Right now I've been drinking 8 ounces a day. I've been on a candida diet due to infections I've had, and suspect I really need to recolonize my digestive tract. I'm hoping the kefir will help with that, so I'd like to drink as much as I can to help the process along. 2. When I strain out the kefir grains, there are all sorts of new little pieces--like cottage cheese. I have been drinking those. Are these actually new kefir grains? I want the kefir to multiply so I can make more than 2 cups at a time, but am not sure how long it takes or how to do that. Thanks
