Guest guest
We used V8 splash, but Jordan had to use a chaser because it still didn't taste very good. Jay Re: Re: help I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what they gave there son/daughter to get them starting on taking the tolerex. My daughter is 2 and they want her to have 1 1/2 packs per day but so far i can't find anything to mix with it yet that she will drink. To top it off she is extremely fussy. Guest guest
If you want the finished amount of lotion to be 3 cups (24 oz- this will actually " fluff up " to more than 3 cups)and no more than 25% is oil, then you need to have no more than 3/4 c. (6 oz)oil and about 18 ounces of water. 3% would be slightly less than .75 ounces and 1 % would be .24ounces. Does that help you? Guest guest
Oshun has a conversion chart at: http://www.oshun.ca/measure.html help Hi, Just want to make some lotion and can't seem to find where to find what .5 grams is convererted to in OZ. or in Teaspons. if i use 1and 1/2 cups of oil ( apricot and coconut ) and 5 V-capsuls and 2 cups distilled water how much Germaben II and Emulsifying wax would I use. it says the amount of oil should not be greater then 25% whats that mean and usage rate is 3% to 1% so what is all that in simple mind terms. when lotion is finshed it all comes up to 3 cups, if that helps. thank you , Panama

Gee, this sounds so familiar~! I also work out at home and have the same trouble. I switched to using a barbell with weights across my shoulders (like if you were going to do squats)....either way balancing can be a challenge so I am still looking for other solutions as well. My calfs are also large but not what is considered shapely so any ideas on how to " trim " that area down?? Anyway, good luck to you! Guest guest
I think the barbell idea is a good one. But you could also consider using straps. The one end has a loop and the other wraps around the the bar part of the db, then you hold the db with your hand over the strap to keep it on. It relieves your hands and arms from some of the weight. > ok I exercise at home. Guest guest
Calves are huge, strong muscles that can take a lot of abuse. The only thing I've found (I work out at home too) is to do them on a step and really take your time. Stretch your heel way low and then slloooowwwly go up as high as you can - hold- then go a bit higher. You will feel the burn eventually! Park HELP ok I exercise at home. The only exercise I can do for my calf on my lower body day is when you hold the dumbell in each hand, and lift up on your toes. The problem is my calfs are 15in.!!!! They are soo huge from soccer. When I do this exercise, I barely feel the burn, infact my arms are about to fall off because the weight is too much for them!!! and ideas? Guest guest
Hi Peggy, I'll try and explain. Recomended rate of usage .o2% of the total weight of product it is being used in. It is water soulable and I have been told it will not work in products that don't have water in them. High temps will break it down and make it less effective, so it should be added after the soap or lotion has cooled down some. Did that help? I have some germall plus powder and I don`t know how to use it. Anyone????? Guest guest
from Dale, Mom to Katy, CVID, age 18 Sandi, I don't know about an infection. The only time I had trouble with a tetanus booster was when I had them too close together. It was VERY SORE. I'm thinking maybe 2 weeks of pain and swelling and heat at the site. But that was 10 years ago. I've had another booster since that was no problem other than initial soreness. I believe you are supposed to wait 3 years before having another booster -- but I may be wrong on that timing. The CDC National Immunization Information Hot Line number is 1-800-232-2522. They are supposed to be available to ask questions. Their website is www.cdc.gov/nip Hope you can get some relief soon. Guest guest
Dale, Thank you for the CDC number. I ended up going in to my Docs to have it checked--it has been over ten years since I had a booster. But he thinks that because I have Sjögren's, it's just one more thing for my immune system to try to handle. I've also had quite of muscle involvement, so my muscle could be reacting, too. He didn't think it was infected. But I do have my 12th case of conjunctivitis!! I hope my immune system settles down soon. Guest guest
Mark: If your potassium went up in a very short time, the doc could be worried about hyperkalimia. Still I would expect him to tapper you off, 200-100-50, and monitor your bp. Also you don't mention your creatine level, this can be a problem, in that your kidney is not effectively eliminating the drugs you are currently taking. Your bp and potassium are good, so he might be trying to take pressure off your kidneys. He probably has you schedualed for blood work in about a month. This would tell him what is going on with your potassium, which he might try to control with a potassium sparing diuretic like Amiloride. Long term bp control is a work in progress. Keep good records of the bp, and you'll become an expert on what works for you. Good Luck, Wayne > Queation for all: Iam on 200mgs of spirinalactone found out today > potassium levels was 5.5. Guest guest
Lab here quotes normal serum potassium range as 3.5 - 5.0 Mine is now 5.5 (has been since mid-Novenmer) and I have borderline hyperkalemia. I am not longer taking any medication so no-one is really sure why the potassium has shot up quite so much. Guest guest
Jen, I am having a kind of crummy day too. I am sorry that we are kind of in the same boat. I am certain that tomorrow will be better. At least we have tomorrow... there are 7 brave American's and their families who do not have tomorrow, at all. Guest guest
Jen, Sorry I've been out all day! You know yesterday I felt like crud. I had written my five daily goals, it was an hour before bed and I one done. I knew I'd feel bad if I didn't set my mind in motion, so I scrubbed the floors, played a card game with Jael and read to the kids. Four out of five isn't bad. This morning I was on the elipticle and watched to smoke from the space shuttle smoking pretty much above my head and I thought, Dear God, I take life for granted so badly. If I didn't get my workout done and there was still time, I'd go ahead get it done, cry through it if necessary, take a shower and snuggle down with my family. Let me know how you're feeling. Guest guest
Jen, I went through a no appetite thing in week 5 or 6 for a couple days in C1. Give it a few days, do the best you can, and I am sure it will pass! I've talked to quite a few people who went through the same thing around week 5 or 6. Make sure you are getting enough sleep etc. etc. and plug on through. I hope your personal stuff gets better Laurie C2D16 Help hi ladies, Week 5 and I have run into a problem. I am going throuhj some personal crap, and have lost my appetite completly. Yesterday I had 3 meals, 2 consisted of myoplex lite shakes, the othre I couldn't even finish. I am exercising and drinking water, but thats it, no food for fuel. Any suggestions? Jen
Guest guest
It might help to find some other really quick meal possibilities. When my life gets bad, the last place I want to be is putting out effort in the kitchen. Throw some chicken breasts in the crock pot, keep some cottage cheese handy, have some wheat pasta already made with sauce on it in the fridge. I know how it is not to feel like eating, though. You'll get through it!
Guest guest
: I'll write more later but please remind me, how old is your son? Because we were told to just protect our daughter and wait also, because we were waiting to see how all the additional tests came back, waiting to do more immunizations and test responses, plus there's always the hope with those under 2 or 3 yrs old that their systems will improve with age. In fact, we were told our daughter's problems were NOT transient and would not improve, but almost all of her problems DID improve as she got older. So there may be hope. (mom to Kate, born 9/19/02; and , age 4 -- currently has polysaccharide antibody def, previously had transient IgG, IgA, t-cell & other defs)
