Guest guest Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 If you have a Vitamix or another high-powered blender suitable for blending frozen fruit, for 2 people you could . . . 1. Add 1 frozen banana (broken into 4 pieces and frozen) 2. 1 cup of frozen blueberries, or blackberries, etc. (not cooked, just rinsed and frozen) 3. 2 raw eggs (haven’t gotten salmonella yet!) 4. 1 glass of cold kefir 5. Any other powdered or liquid nutritional supplements you may want to add 6. No sweetener necessary, but you could add some if you need it Give it a whirl, pour, and enjoy! A kefir pina colada is also good! Use a frozen banana, frozen pineapple, and add some unsweetened coconut or coconut crème. Frozen peaches also make a nice smoothie, but I would still add a little frozen banana. And, use 1 frozen banana and 1 frozen orange (already sectioned) and you have an orange creamscicle smoothie.
