You can take finished kefir with you. It will continue to ripen over time but it

should be just fine.

I am not worried about my grains -I know how to store them for the duration of

our trip. I am wondering about bringing finished kefir along -making it now and

using it on the trip. I dont want to bring any grains or the extra milk needed

to make it along as we are super limited on space. I can manage fridge space for

jars of finished kefir.
