BIOGRAPHY

Memorial services for Joyce M. Simmerman, age 78 of Creighton, Nebraska, will be

10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Brunswick Community Church in Brunswick,

Nebraska. Pastor Kringle will officiate, with burial at a later date.�

Brockhaus Funeral Home of Creighton is in charge of arrangements.�

Joyce died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton,

South Dakota.�

While I only knew her thru emails and her wonderful grains that she shared with

me I knew her heart. I was always so happy to hear from her because the energy

was just like walking into love.

I had no idea of the difficult life she lead bc she never whined, never

complained, just always looking for ways to help others.

When I first met Joyce she and Dave had just squeezed together enough money with

combined SS to purchase the adjacent property for a safe house from domestic

abuse.

She is all over the web, I had no idea...always doing things for others,

sharing, caring.

She cared very much about this group and always spoke so tenderly of all here.

Joyce and Dave took the sorrows of their lives and transformed it into

compassion for all. This song from one of her blogs says it best...
