Guest guest
Hi all, I would be grateful for any advice / recommendations on the following. My girlfriend and I are touring Egypt by ourselves next month and I have read that emergency medical provision is scarce to non-existant in places. The g/friend usually takes a few clean syringes / venflons with her (just in case) along with the usual over the counter meds when she travels - I'm thinking about doing the same, but I don't want hassle from security people for carrying stuff I may not need. Any thoughts? Cheers, Stuart CSO Alliance medic.
Guest guest
Hi Stu, I wouldn't imagine you would encounter too many problems carrying the basic bits and bobs, I would advise though that they are in a clearly marked first aid pack or better still in the sealed units you can buy from life systems, they are touch expensive but widely recognised around the world, they are also clearly marked up. I would also suggest a look at a book called the Travellers Handbook published by Wexas ISBN 0-905802-08-X Its got all sorts of travel advice in it, I found it excellent. Hope this helps Best wishes Ian ********************************************************** Ian Sharpe Medic / Dive Medic Ian@... IanSharpe@...
