Hi, right now I have my chiari booklet I put together on loan, but I will tell

you the link to go to Candian Syringomelia network where I called and they sent

me a packet on Chiari and the relating illness- one bieing Cmt or also call

Ankylosing Spondosis. The link is

http://www.chiari.com/Links.htm

To go to many links on Chiari Malformation just type in the disorder there are

many sites to go to. I do not know if you can retrieve the data I have without

sending for it. All you need do is call the link above and they will send it to

you. When I ge my book back I will share the other relating illness with you,

that would be friday.

The article written is written in part by Dr MIlerot, Head fo the board of

Neurosurgery in US.

Cheryl *** I tried the URL you sent; did not find anything about Chiari and CMT

being related, nor Ankylosing Spondosis as you say. A.S. is part of what my back

problems were from a disk problem that people in middle age get. Chiari is a

neural tube defect, CMT is a disease of the peripheral nerves, affecting axons

and the myelin. What I would like to see is the specific link where Chiari is

common to CMT,or whatever you mentioned. If is is common, I would have found

research on Pub Med or my other sites, but nothing comes up.
