Guest guest
, I can relate to the feeling you are talking about. I also get very bad dizzy spells to the point were I have almost passed out. The dizzy spells come out of the blue and at any time of the day and night. I even get them sitting and while driving, so I tend not to drive very much any more. Sometimes when I get a really bad spell I see funny red blurred visions, start sweating, and I feel like someone has put their hands over my ears. The muffled hearing tends to last a little longer than the dizzy feeling. Some days are worse then others I will have dizzy spells many times a day, sometimes I can go a few days with out any at all. The best way to describe the majority of them is a very bad " drunk feeling " and I do not drink. I also get that floating feeling mostly when I am sitting and laying down. It is a strange feeling. My 14yr old daughter also gets these dizzy spells, but she will also get a bad headache after them. The doctors say it goes with the CMT but haven't given me what type of CMTit goes with. I have had nerve conduction test the works..They want to do the blood testing but my insurance won't pay for it..I have severe muscle wasting and pain..my daughter, you can't really tell she has it..her biggest symptoms are some leg pain..but minor Advil helps w/that, and the dizzy spells other than that she is very active and is a cheerleader, plays softball as sports. Hope this helps some I've been told to just deal with it.We both hate these feeling, My daughter and I.
