Guest guest
, Ever since I was 7, I have had on/off pain in my feet. They feel like they are burning. Especially if I am standing in one place for awhile. But sometimes the burning starts when I am seated or even in the pool. I use ice mostly, when that's not practical or available, I use Biofreeze, or even Arnica gel seems to stop the burning. I too thouugh my feet pain was due to surgery. But I had the surgery when I was 10 and my feet were hurting before that. I'm just glad this doesn't happen all the time and that I have found ways to manage it. (can't help you with ankle pain - don't have that) Gretchen
Guest guest
Hi , My name is , I suffered with pain in my feet and toes that was unbearable, mostly when my feet were cold. I would experience a burning, shooting pain (which apparently is a neuropathic pain). My daughter designed heated slippers for my use, which has been a true God-Send, for me and also many others with CMT. We have made and distributed these slippers, called CosySoles for the past five years. They are recommended by neurologists, podiatrists and pharmacists and are available to 2 hospitals in Canada. If you would like to have more information please visit our web-site at www.cosysoles.ca Hope this helps! Warmest Regards,
Guest guest
Yes,especially in the morning. I have to decide whether to go to the bathroom or wait until my medicine kicks in. It stinks. I wait as long as possible, but then may trip on something!!
Guest guest
The best way I have found is to just jump up and walk to your meds and give them time to work. Sometimes i wish I had a 65 gal bladder. good luck ; michael
Guest guest
Hi: I have terrible foot and ankle pain. The ankle pain begins at one ankle goes across the front of my foot to the other ankle. It really gets worse when I am on my feet for too long...about 3 hours or so. This can happen at anytime because I am not aware of the pain until it is too late. The one thing that has worked for me is to take 2-3 Advil Gel Caps, and have at least an hour long nap. I do also take 2000 Mg. of Neurontin during the day, 700mg in the morning, 700mg at 4 o'clock and 600mg along with 50mg of Amitriptyline at bedtime. This also helps with the burning at the top of my feet which happens from time-to-time. Regards, Beckingham Corporate Nice Guy
Guest guest
Deb, My pain is exactly the same, they get so cold and at the same time they are numb and it feels like my toe could just snap off..But it hurts too, it's hard to explain to someone they are numb but hurt..I take pain killers and think if they allow me to function, which also keeps my muscles going so be it. Guest guest
I had lot of foot pain but since taking Nerontin 3 times a day my feet are fine. Now if my back and hip felt he same way it would be great. Barb C
