Scenario: One for the road Part One

You have arrived at a pub in the city centre, late Saturday afternoon. A

group of students have been out collecting for rag week and have been on the

beer since early morning. One of the students, Bob, has collapsed at the

bar. He is lying on his back and has vomit covering his T-shirt and face.

Bob, is not breathing, he has a rapid pulse and his pupils are small on

examination. He smells very strongly of beer. A further check finds a BM

kit, insulin pen and a couple of syringes and needles in a case in his

pocket.

As usual you have your own skills and equipment to hand. The ambulance is

expected in about five minutes.
