My father had it too and so did my grandmother (who would be 119 years old if she was still alive). Well, when I was a kid I used to have dizzy spells. I would be sitting in a chair and for no reason at all I would have like a floating feeling and the room would spin around. A few years ago this happened when I was in the bathroom and I injured myself and I think I blacked out briefly. The doctor checked me out and found nothing wrong with me. Anyway, I still get it now and again and it happened lastnight in bed for about 10 seconds. It is such a weird sensation. Well, I remember when I was 13 years old and my father and myself were in the neurological centre at Southamton, England and my father was told that CMT can affect the brain. Anyway, I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem. Many thanks Snow Quote
