Guest guest
Hi Jackie, I didn't even try with the health insurance. They may have, but right now I am still fighting them on paying for a blood test I had done 2 yrs ago next month. Blood was sent to Athena labs for testing for cause of my neuropathy. Anyway, when the Dr. called medicare office and Bl Shield office they said yes it was covered. Then after I had the test they kept rejecting it. Still fighting. It was over $1,000. Anyway, the chair was on sale for $167 and I had some birthday monies from the kids that I was saving for something important - and that was it. Yes, the stair lift is top priority. I had used it off and on since mom died - and I definitely used it to send laundry basket etc up and down steps - and then the steel cable unraveled from the cylinder. I called Inclinator Co. 3 weeks ago, serviceman called back but still didn't come. I called yesterday and girl said I am on list but he would get back to me as to when. Still waiting. I have it since 1981 -it is 23 years old and never needed repair before. I am waiting for them to tell me it is out-dated and they can't get part or whatever - the usual story. We'll see. If I really need a new one then I most definitely am going to try for insurance coverage. Nice talking to you. Hope you are having a good day.
