June and ,

When i was at the disability convention, they showed me that their are 2 sizes

available, each with adjustable handles. There is a smaller size and a larger

size for tall people. It really is a great product. Probably designed by a

disabled person!

I did meet someone who has a neuromuscular disease who designed a cane that ONLY

a disabled person could design! The bottom is made out of material that is used

on boats, so you can't slip with it and it is designed so you can walk on the

beach with it. It displaces the sand so it does not sink. Also, the handle is

much larger and fits more in the palm of your hand. it hold the remote control

for you car so you do not have to fumble for keys. Best part is it has a handle

on the shaft of the cane, so if you fall, you can lean on the handle to lift

yourself back up. Here in Baltimore, the Ravens team has bought the cane for

their injured players. It will be on the market in December. If anyone is

interested, let me know and i can send out a brochure on it.
