Guest guest
, Unlike Neurontin, I have not taken Gabatril, but this may give you some information. At this site there is also prescribing information with contraindications. Gabatril is currently being marketed as an anti-epileptic medication, like how Neurontin started. My doctor explained to me Neurontin stopped the electrical activity in my brain that was causing the sparks type pain. Maybe Gabatril does the same? http://www.gabitril.com/patients/home/default.asp Some non-CMT research on Tigabine (Gabatril) at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search & DB=pubmed To date I haven't found anything on Gabatril for CMT pain or neuropathic pain. +++Gretchen
