Athena Announces Call for Confirmed Type 1A Participants

Athena diagnostics is looking for patients who have been previously

tested and confirmed to have either CMT1A or HNPP genetic mutation.

Athena is willing to pay $100 for each donated blood sample. If your

previous testing was not preformed by Athena Diagnostics, please enclose

a copy of your test report with your blood sample. Athena wiill use the

blood sample in the development of new testing technology and therefore

you will not receive notification of testing results.

The process to donate your blood is very simple. Please call Athena at

800 - 394 - 4493 and ask to speak to Amar Kamath. We will then ship

you a collection kit with a consent form and have our blood draw service

call you to make an appointment. Please sign the consent form before you

make the appointment for the blood draw. The person from our blood draw

service will draw the blood and send it to us for validating our new

assay.
