recent diagnosis

Hi everyone:

Last week I received the news that the lump in my breast is cancer.

I am pretty devistated at this point and don't know yet how we will

have to proceed. I have a doctor appointment on Monday with the surgeon

and tests on Tues. I know this is not a cancer support group, but I was

wondering if anyone else had to deal with this kind of surgery and CMT.

I know the list of toxic drugs for CMT includes a lot of drugs that

relate to cancer.

Any words of advise would be appreciated.

*** , my thoughts are with you in this. I don't have the experience

with this or advice, but what said about asking alot of questions and

taking the time to understand ALL options was great advice. If anything, I would

just add this: each day be really good to yourself and if the " one day at a

time " doesn't work, just go with 5 minutes at a time. Print off some copies of

the Toxic Medications list and take to your doctors, too. Stay in touch with us
