Guest guest
Here is some information from a orthotist in Cleveland who has fitted several people with the device. Of all the people he fitted, 50% have CMT. He has discovered that it does not work well on people who have hyperextension of the knees and need to use their hips to walk. You must be able to bend the knee. He also notes that it does not easily fit into a shoe and you must go up 1 1/2 sizes for fitting. He has not seen where many of his patients have benefitted. Best to talk to several orthotists in U.S. who have had experience fitting for this brace and observing gait. Jackie
