Hello everyone. I have been using Ultram or Tramadol(generic) for

pain/fatigue for a couple of years. Has anyone else tried it, and

what were the results? It was the first med that helped my

neuropathic pain in legs/arms/general, and also helps with fatigue.

It is absolutely amazing, but you have to be careful to take it

every 4-6 hours or so, because it does cause some " rebound " pain

that is a bit worse than what I started with. It has a short acting

serotonin component that wipes out fatigue. Right now, I am taking

3 a day, but have taken as few as 1 at bedtime.

When I first began taking it, I was concerned about addictive

qualities, so I had to see if I could stop taking it easily. And I

did stop for a year or so (after 3 days of increased pain and

irritability, all withdrawal symptoms were over.) For me, the

downside is worth the hours of the day without pain and feeling like

I can get things done!!
