Guest guest
Hello, I've get the result of the BAEP. My left ear is deaf at 25 years now. At the BAEP they see that my right ear also getting less hearing. The problem is that the nerves in the head are damaged. It's call perception deafness. The EMG is normal, but the doctor said that it is usual in CMT II. Now my doctor is getting contact with different doctors if they now of this deafness can be a part of CMT II. The scoliosis, the deafness, the vertigo, the ear ringing, walk like a dug, the nystagmus, and the family history seems to be CMT II. But not everything of the problems are just recognised as CMT II. I will thank Gretchen for putting on the result of tests over the world, so I could say to my doctor that hearing loss can be a problem of CMT II I've read in the American group.
