Hi Fred:

I do not have double vision but I was born with cataracts and also had eye

muscle problems; I had five eye surgeries as a kid and two more as an

adult to get intraocular implants.

My Dad, whom I inherited CMT Type 2 from, has less of the " traditional " CMT

symptoms but is over 90% deaf. His sister also had eye muscle problems.

Yes; I think it all relates. Exactly how is hard to say. I do know that since

all my surgeries, my eyesight is better than it has ever been. I am now 34 years

old.
