ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) is also known as Thiotic Acid - Keir found some

synonyms about it. Here's some other information. And no, far as my

research goes (English and German) I have found nothing about studies on

(This one says it is approved in Germany for treating polyneuropathies.

It also says that in human clinical trials it has shown to decrease pain
