Guest guest
Hello all, Quite a while back I posted a question about how to best remove calluses. Someone suggested going to have a professional pedicure. Now that my hands have lost even more functionality, it is getting almost impossible to remove the calluses myself. Depending on how much walking and standing I have been doing, the calluses can build up very quickly. So I am seriously thinking about finding someone who does pedicures who can remove the calluses for me. I looked in the phone book and the ads I see seem to be the more " beauty shop " types places. This may sound stupid, but I am somewhat hesitant about contacting these places due to the fact that most all of them specialize in the " beauty " aspects of pedicures. I am not shy about calling them, but I just want to get some input from this group prior to drudging through the 100+ phone numbers I have. Any ideas on how to find a knowledgeable pedicurist who can remove my calluses on a regular basis? I know this is a general question, but maybe there is some idea that hasn't crossed my mind. Also, what is the typical price range for this sort of thing? Any input is appreciated. Rob **** Rob, try a podiatrist for callous removal. - GG
