I AM WRITING IN RESPONSE TO THE RESISTANCE TRAINING PROGRAM RESULTS

CONCERNING INCREASED STRENGTH. MY PROBLEM IS NOT STRENGTH WHICH MEASURES QUITE

GOOD,

BUT MUSCLE SORENESS AFTER EXERCISE WHICH THEN MAKES ME CONCERNED ABOUT THE

POSSIBILITY OF LOSING WHAT MUSCLE STRENGTH I HAVE LEFT. I AM NOW 68 YR.OLD,

DIAGNOSED WHEN I WAS 50 YR.OLD. MY MAJOR PROBLEMS ARE BALANCE, AND STAMINA.

OTHER SMALL THINGS, BUT NOT TOO BAD. TINGLING IN EXTREMITIES IS ON AND OFF;

HOWEVER I NOW HAVE OSTEOPOROSIS AND FEEL BONY ACHING A GREAT DEAL FOR WHICH I

TAKE VIOXX.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO ACHIEVE MORE MUSCLE MASS/TONE WITHOUT LOSING MY

REMAINING MUSCLES THEMSELVES? I AM RETIRED, BUT DO A GOOD DEAL OF VOLUNTEER

WORK.

THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS,

ANGELA P.

You sound just like i do. but I also now have a problem with having

deteriorating disk in my lower back/

I am on viox also and neuronton which really helps with the pain in lower

leg and feet . I am starting a program of stretching exercises to help get

some strength back in back and hips.
