Pageant Winner Gets 4 Years in Disability Scam

From Times Wire Reports

A former beauty queen who collected Social Security benefits by claiming she was

disabled was sentenced in Minneapolis to nearly four years in prison and was

ordered to pay $193,000 in restitution.

" Dee " Marie , Mrs. Minnesota International in 1999, also must

complete three years of supervised probation once she's released.

How do you claim your disabled? The SS doctor needs to approve it.. I am

confused.

*** Yo , I have to admit I wondered about this myself. But she must

have paid a doc to say she was disabled in the first place. The SS doc must have

been paid to approve it too. (all part of the scam I guess) These scams are

awful - and it takes much away from people who need it. Do you remember about 5

years ago when football players at UCLA ALL had handicapped parking permits?
