Dear all,

This must be a matter of deep concern for all of us that the rulers of some of

the gulf countries have decided to screen all the Indian migrants.

This is not only a matter of violation of human rights but more concern.

I have 2 serious questions in this regard to share with you :

- Thousands of people including laboureres, technicians and other professionals

from various parts of Rajasthan (mainly from district Sikar and Jhunjhunu in

Shekhawati area and Pali, Sirohi and Jalore in Marwar) have visited (and a lot

are still living) several gulf countries and tested HIV + after coming back from

these countries. Number of HIV infected people in these areas particularly those

who returned from the Gulf countries with the virus has reached an alarming

point which is over 50,000 according to the Govt. data. The exact figure may be

more higher ? What should we say on it ? Who is the prime carrier of the virus ?

- There are number of cases when the Sheikhs from the gulf countries have weded

the poor teenager girls from several parts of India, particularly Hyderabad in

Andhra Pradesh and left them to live a pitiable life after satiating their

sexual desire. What would happen when India take this type of decission that all

the sheikhs would be tested before coming to india ?

I would look forward to know your comments in this regard.

with regards,
