I have been diagnosed with Type 2 but the genetic test was negative. I had an

appointment with my neurologists today. I am trying to get a more definitive

diagnosis. Type 1 is easier to pin down since there are more tests available.

Type 2 is more difficult. Up until recently there was only a genetic test for

2E, but my doctor says they are testing for 2A, 2B1, 2E, and 2F. He will be

contacting Athena labs to see what else they can do.
