Rising AIDS graph in Tripura

FOR Tripura, AIDS was not a major problem. But that was in the past.

The state has now recorded a sudden rise in the number of patients

affected by the disease.

At present, Tripura has 79 HIV-positive cases and six AIDS patients,

while two AIDS patients have died in the past few weeks. Of the 79

HIV-positive cases, as many as 43 belong to security forces.
