Growing up as a CMT child and coming of age, I was never able to wear

more than a 3 inch heel on dress shoes and when I was in high school

wore our regulation saddle shoes or weejuns. At work, and throughout

my career, plus for dancing have worn different Sibbica brand

shoes. Hush Puppies had a great line of dress shoes which I still

have. Lots of colors and styles. But, I've only got 2 feet, and for

riding wore boots, for hikes another kind of boot, at the beach and

poolside barefoot or in thongs (aka " go a heads " .) Had a beau who was

who was a shoe salesman too - fun, but had way too many shoes.

My feet are most comfortable in New Balance shoes or also Aravon (by

New Balance.) I have many different styles, and even for meetings or

work or dress or casual, dancing in New Balance shoes is great - feel

very grounded with ability for more movements - there's always a

solution! My work clothes, suits, dresses, skirts, jeans, etc. I find

the solution. My feet would prefer to not wear shoes of anykind -

EVER!

I actually listened to an orthopedist when I was about 15 about all

the reasons NOT to wear heels and how my feet could be damaged.
