Guest guest
Hi Becky, Welcome to the website, it certainly has helped me with info. I to am from Ohio and my Aunt and I both have CMT1A??? The blood test in my case came back inconclusive. We would love to talk or get together for lunch, if you are in our area. It helps sometimes to talk to non-family members. We live in Toledo area. What area of Ohio are you from? They have a montly meeting in Greensboro, Ohio that we attended once, but a 2 hour drive for us, so we cannot go often Sincerely, Connie P'burg, Oh

Guest guest
Hi Becky, You are most welcome here. Thanks so much for introducing yourself. It is difficult for us all sometimes to explain how our body changes and accept those changes, not to mention the uncertainty of living with CMT in the future. I have Type 2 as well and am participating in the Type 2 research at MIHG in Miami. You are absolutely right, it IS possible to live fully and comfortably despite CMT.
