Customizing car door handles??? HELP!

I need some advice and information here. My mother-in-law is going to be giving

us her

JMC Jimmy to replace my Jeep Cherokee but I don't think I can open the Jimmy

doors. It's

a 2 door vehicle with a recessed door handle like a Chevy Blazer. My Jeep has

door

handles like a Ford where you have a door handle that sticks out with a button

you push. I

can push the button with my palm and grab the handle with my other hand to open

the

door, but I lack the finger strength to pull open a recessed door handle,

especially on a 2

door model with larger, heavier doors.

Can this Jimmy be customized with different door handles? I've never heard of

anyone

doing that before, but I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.

If it can't be modified, does anyone have any advice on how to open heavy car

doors with

little finger strength???
