Gender training workshop of PWN+

Greetings from PWN+.

Positive Women Network (PWN+) is organizing a gender training workshop for key representatives from the networks from around 11 states. This workshop is being conducted in Chennai from March 9-11, 2005.

The gender workshop is part of a larger PWN+ initiative 'empowering women living with HIV through visioning, capacity building, and advocacy', supported by UNIFEM, NewDelhi.

Engendering the GIPA process and building leadership of WLHA in the networks would be one of the key initiatives expected to emerge from the workshop.

The workshop would look at understanding gender, creating a gender analysis framework, and capacity building.
