No hand stiffness here. What you describe does sound like arthritis.

Yes, I have very stiff hands in the morning when I wake up. Also my

feet and ankles feel stiff. After moving around for a bit it does

get better. My dr. said it is just from being still all night - I

try to move around a lot during the day. I found that for instance

riding in a car for too long also does this. I think it is related

to the CMT.
