Guest guest
Hi everyone! The title of 's email reminded me of something I'd wanted to ask you people for sometime. My right foot's big toe keeps on moving on its own. Hehe...sounds funny, no? Anyway, it was here in where I learned that such involuntary movements are part of the CMT game and are called something like 'muscle fasiculation' (am not sure about the spellings). My 'naughty toe' was giving me too much of trouble at night because there are no shoes at night to at least partially stop the involuntary movement. On my doctor's advice I raised the level of my feet at night i.e. I started sleeping with two pillows below my feet (I sleep with my back on the bed)and amazingly, it helps a LOT! My question is, why does it help? Why doesn't my toe move as much when my foot is kept at a raised level???? Am really curious...any response is welcome. Cheers......! Reema ***** Reema, possibly has to do with blood flow/circulation. ~ G
