Guest guest
I have been having serious fatigue. Far beyond what is normal for me since starting on my Baclofin. It has, however, stoped most of the pain that I have been having in my hands. Are there any other drugs out there like Baclofin that can help to control this pain? (And maybe require less frequent dosing?) Also, I think I have decided not to go back to the neurologist who perscribed the Baclofin for me. While at the appointment he told me something that somewhat upset me at the time of the appointment, and since than hes out and out made me very mad. While in his office, on my very first visit to him, he told me that I should not have anymore children because the only way to truly stop CMT is to not pass it on to anymore generations of children. This man really has no idea who I am or what kind of parent am and regardless, I never have thought it would have been better for my mother to not have me because I have CMT. This outrages me beyond words! So I will not go back to this doctor. Now what do I do? I need to find another docotor who will be somewhat knowlegable about CMT in order to continue to get medication for my pain. Just needed to vent a bit. Thanks for listening!
