Another financial perk of having a disability!

I just responded to this months' poll and I thought of another fantastic perk

that my

husband and I have utilized extensively when travelling that some of you might

not be

aware of, and that's free admission for everyone in your vehicle to all of our

National Parks

and National Monuments along with half price camping with the Golden Access

Pass.

It was surprisingly easy to obtain the Golden Access Pass by going to our local

US Forest

Service office and taking my handicapped parking pass in there. Within minutes

I had my

Golden Access Pass.

We have vacationed and explored quite a few of our parks including Yellowstone,

Big Bend,

White Sands, and many more. If you travel it's a fantastic perk!

Now if I could just get discounts on fishing licenses nationwide I'd be loving

it! :-)

Did you also know that with the golden access pass you can stay in Corps of

Engineer parks and campgrounds half price????? some state parks honor this pass

but not in Arkansas. My hubby and I have a small pop up camper and we love

using our pass.
