Guest guest
Excuse me for covering a lot of ground here but several posts hit home! , I chuckle at your remark, just don't start answering yourself. I too have tinnitus, but mine ischirping crickets. As for the hand position I clench a lot, wake up with numb hands and the like. wrist splints really work but get the soft ones. I kept giving myself a bloody nose with the hard ones! I wake up with semi-numb feet, I have some toe movement but not a lot, a little excercise before rising seems to help but if I overdo this I get a cramp. Speaking of cramps, lately mine have worsened. I had one in my right foot while in bed that made my foot turn inside and stayed that way for four hours. It wasn't awfully painful but I could not straighten it out, did't get much sleep that night. Have had that in my hands as well but not to that extreme, my wrist will drop and lock that way fingers will not move, the last time was at the racetrack where I crew, other racers being somewhat crude and not at all politically correct (I love that trait)had some very intresting comments! I have two kinds of cramps, the kind that are a result of overdoing it which are more painful and don't last long, they usualy give you a " warning shot " , if ignored then look out. the other cramp has no warning, does not seem to be related to any movement or exertion and just hangs on forever. I can move the affected part with another hand but cannot overcome it with the muscles of that hand or foot and when I let go, right back it goes. Time flies; Gotta go! Jim Nash in Ohio P.S. One of our local charachters had a habit of talking to (and answering) himself. When chided about it his answer was " I enjoy talking to intelligent people and listening to them as well " !!
