Welcome . Thanks so much for introducing yourself. You said you have just

been diagnosed with CMT 1A and HNPP. You might want to double check on that

because they are genetic opposites of each other, CMT 1A is a chromosonal

duplication, HNPP is a chromosonal deletion.

I have essential tremor too. Yes, it is related to CMT - it is sometimes called

Roussey - Levy CMT. Some research I have done on my own noted this type of CMT

to be descendant of the first families known to have CMT 1B. Unfortunately I

haven't found anything very current on this.
