Note that the 50/50 issue is only typical for autosomal dominant forms like CMT 1A: " OK, take a deep breath...there are an ever growing number of newly discovered forms of CMT, including the now well-described X-linked dominant form soooo, it all depends on what type you have. The " 50/50 " variety you described would be typical for the autosomal dominant forms like CMT type 1A, which is among the more common types " . ---------- Internal Virus Database is out-of-date.
