I feel tiredness/pain in my knees after long time sitting, while the knees are bent. Then I have to straighten my legs to relax. · July 2003. Motorbike Injury, when a running boy strikes on my right knee from lateral side & my knee strikes the fuel tank of motorbike from medial side. Immediate pain in right knee & was unable to walk & bear weight. After few hours walking become normal. I remain unable to step up on the ladder for couple of days due to severe pain when I go up through stairs. But recovery was very rapid, every next day was better than previous. Within three months I became symptom free & absolutely fit for running, jumping & step up rapidly. Only one residual symptom is still present that the right knee become locked, when totally bent to an extreme end. But it is pain free & easily opened. I can lock & open it at my will. · November 2006. Mild fever like symptoms, which remained undiagnosed & recovered after 2 months. Two residual symptoms i-e Hematuria & white deposition on the tongue, remained.Hematuria on further investigations diagnosed as stones in KUB systems which are now excreted & free from stones & hematuria too. White deposition on the tongue remained mysterious & now the intensity reduced by 70% by time, during last one year. · February 2007 I first noticed mild pain in both knees when stair up. It was mild & I can run & jump easily. · March 2007 Doctor examined & advised Glucosamine+Condoritin Sulphate three times a day for three months. Doctor also noticed the grinding sound in my knees. · Aug~Nov 2007 Symptoms go on increasing, besides the treatment & limiting my activities. I visited several doctors & go through MRI's. · Nov 2007~Present Walking is normal & pain free. Running & jumping is impossible due to pain.Stepping Up on the ladder is very painful. Now using high dosage of Glucosamine+Chondoritin & performing " Isometric Quadriceps Exercises " . Replaced the activities that create pain in knees with new modified & slow motions. DIAGNOSIS: MRI findings are summarized as follows · MRI LEFT KNEE 1. Grate III to IV Chondromalacic changes in medial & lateral patellar facets with subchondral bone ulcers and marrow edema 2. Tiny oblique tear in body and posterior horn of medial meniscus. 3. Mild sprain of medial collateral ligament 4. Mild joint effusion · MRI RIGHT KNEE 1. Tiny oblique tear involving posterior horn of medial meniscus. 2. Mild joint effusion. 3. Bone bruising with focal grade III to IV chondromalacic changes in medial patellar facet. CONCERNS: · I am not satisfied with my diagnosis, because my symptoms are not improving. · As I perform exercises vigorously, symptoms become worse instead of improving. · As I delay the proper diagnosis & treatment, the damage to knee may become at a stage where it is irreversible. Please advise,If some one can: What is my exact diagnosis? What it seems from above description? Which doctor I should visit i-e best one. I can travel any where in world for it.
