Jim, thank you for your email. So your daughter calls you a fossil too. lol

The other day my son asked me if kids today ride a bus to school, then what

did I ride when I went to school back then. Talk about feeling old. LOL

She is something special, that is for sure. She deals with this better than

I have. When your child is sick, all you want to do is make them better.

With CMT you can't. It's like it is a waiting game that this plays with us.

It has been hard for her at this age. She wishes she could play sports or

be a cheerleader. She and I talk about everything. I try to be as open

about CMT as I can. After all it is her that it is happening to. For me to

try and hide things from her would be wrong.

She has had a real hard time at school with the other kids. They have been

so mean over the years to her. Making fun of her and calling her names.

She has had to deal with a lot of stuff. It has all made her such a strong

person and very compassionate for others.

Janet,

I really hate mean school kids. I wanted to go to a smaller nicer school but

my parents couldn't afford it. I like that now we can home school to get our

kids away from the crap they have to take at school. No one needs that type

of character building.
