Guest guest
Do you mean color blocks? I have a grater that I use and put the small pieces in baggies. When I need to use them I just grab a sprinkle and go from there. Guest guest
, I just shave some off a little at a time and put that in with my hot soap, oils, etc. If you just put in a little at a time you can add more if you want the color to darken. I am new at this, so I'm sure someone else can tell you if I'm wrong. I know that was on the instruction sheet when I first starting making candles, and I do it that way with other things I color too. a <akainepsp@...> wrote: I got my color chips in the mail today. Guest guest
I dont usually do small batches, so I will use whole blocks or more. If I do a small batch I will break it into block, half block, quarter of block I record the amount I use for each batch, I have to have something I can measure for future reference. I can't measue a sprinkle LOL. I rarely use these anymore, just because measuring and consistancy is too hard( not a bad thing if you are playing or making for home use) I moved onto liquid gels, and lab colors I tired of pastels and like that I can do vivid colors that dont bleed.
