Guest guest
Dear Mike, If your friends and family do not talk to you because of your limitations then they are not people that you need in your life in the first place. So I believe anyone that lives in self-pitying behavior and do only one thing get up read some books to help talk to people who care and above all else believe in themselves. I have a son whom is 16 and has his share of issues---cmt, epilepsy, pectus carantum (protusion of the sternum), Learning Disabilities, Gastrointesting issues and yet he does not sit around on the pot crying---he deals with it and is a very happy person. He is considering going to college for photography. He is thinking into his future. He has had numerous surgeries---yet he is brought up in an environment that thinks positive. Yes, he has his day, yes he gets tired. Yet, we must set examples for all those around us--whatever we do positive or negative people pick up on it.
