Guest guest
Hi Canaan, I can relate. It's weird when you know you hurt, but if it's not visible enough to others, they don't get it. I'm in the service industry and am always on my feet. My co-workers ask what happened when I lost my hand, but when certain parts of your body feel better, they think everything is O.K., and it will go away like a cold. I was just going to change my job from bartending to a secretary, because my typing skills aren't bad, (something I got from high school!!) and that's just when I lost all feeling. Then I was really stuck and still am. Typing is therapy for me, but when I wake up in the morning and have hand problems the reality jumps in. Gretchen has alot of great info, and hang in there!! Guest guest
Cannan, Take a look in our FILES at the Career List. Might give you some ideas. Also, have you met with the folks at your company's Human Resources to inquire what other types of jobs might be a match for you. Seeems like with the Tansportation industry, there's all kinds of jobs that could utilize your skills. Gretchen
Guest guest
Thank you for your replies. You have given me insight on where to go from here. I'm a little frustrated tonight. I received another blood panel in the mail today for the home draw to be sent BACK to Athena Diagnostics, for a RE draw for my CMT complete blood panel. I've waited 2 months to get answers and well you guessed it they need more blood. UGH. Canaan
