Guest guest
Kolkata celebrates Women’s day through different programs at various places. West Bengal State AIDS Prevention & Control Society with Thoughtshop Foundation & Spandan performs lively interactive session that promises to inspire & motivate one and all through touching, real life tales narrated by women from different walks of life at Oberai Grand Kolkata. As always, the open mike story sharing session brings to a focus a number of critical women’s issues needing urgent attention. The stories reaffirm the storyteller’s self confidence, faith and fearlessness and generate powerful vibes that impel others to spontaneously share their life stories. Adding a touch of entertainment to the evening’s discussion, Lee Alison Sibley, Mira Kakkar and Renu Roy will read out a play celebrating the power and ultimate triumph of womanhood and all it stands for. FXB India,West Bengal, is also celebrating International Women’s Day, in its full color of sobriety and rhythm. FXB W.B have been providing awareness & training session to Health Workers working in different wards of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Skit & Role-plays are being presented by these Health workers where problems of AIDS, survival after widowhood & struggle to transcend the odds are showcased by the health workers at different wards in the pockets of Kolkata.
