need pediatric neurologist in Rockford, Il

I am not sure where Alton Illinois is, but I am from Rockford Illinois. I do

have a question for anyone out there from Illinois.

I am looking for a new pediatric neurologist for my son who is 8, we have been

seeing a doctor up in Madison and are not happy with him.

Our son has showed signs of CMT since he was 1 and was positively diagnosed with

DNA testing to have CMT1X when he was 2 & 1/2 and we believe that he is also

autistic...not really sure though and the doctors keep saying it is all CMT

related and won't do any other tests to give us another diagnosis.

All his teachers and therapists at his school are wonderful and give him

everything he needs, just wish we could find a doctor that we love and that

seems like he wants to work with us not against us.

Thanks to everyone out here that have given me more answers than any doctors

ever have.
